Precision Acoustics is committed to handling your personal information and data in a secure and open way respecting your privacy. As outlined in the Privacy Act 1988 and will only collect and use personal information in accordance with our legal obligations and as outlined in this Policy.

This policy outlines our management practices relating to this information for customers, employees, contractors, suppliers and visitors including digital services such as our website.

• Audiometric equipment details including equipment brand and models, Serial Numbers, accessories, work cover number, calibration and repair history;
• Other electronic equipment history related to Test and Tag;
• Financial and purchase information (for Accounts);
• Testimonials or opinions;
• CV details and work experience if you have applied for employment;

Precision Acoustics only collects personal information supplied by you for purposes directly related to our business activities. This is done when we make a record of the personal information that is provided to us when you:

• give information directly to our staff;
• contact us by telephone, mail, email, online or by any digital format;
• fill out a hard copy or digital form;
• provide a testimonial or survey response;
• subscribe to our free information sheets;
• order or purchase goods or services from us;
• request a pick up or delivery of products;

• communicate with us for security, dispute resolution and training purposes and if we operate video surveillance devices in our premises;

We hold personal information electronically and in hard copy form. We take appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

We have a number of security controls in place including and not limited to the use of username and password security for electronic storage. 

Your personal information will also remain stored when mandatory to comply with legal requirements. When this information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely dispose of or destroy it.

Our website is professionally hosted and operates in a secure environment.  However there is always an inherent risk in transmitting personal information via the Internet. Predominantly your personal information is used only in-house by Precision Acoustics. At times some information will be shared with other organisations providing us with support services. We may disclose your personal information to:
